Fasion X-treme 2013

I was invited to a Spring/Summer collection fashion show by Style Magazine two weeks ago which took place at The Marmalade Pantry, ION Orchard.
The brands featured were DKNY, enVie de Pois, Paul Ka and Vivienne Westwood.

Love the invitation card so much

Some of the canapes and desserts that were catered to guests during the show

Here are my favorite looks.

Anddd my most favorite piece of the show from Vivienne Westwood.
This dress is so awesome, love the details. It is a perfect number for a garden wedding.

A picture with my gorgeous girl, Sylvia before leaving. Can you believe she is a mother of two?

Headed to Tawandang Mircobrewery at Dempsey for a dinner after the show.
I used to enjoy their food but I think their standard has dropped and the service was slow :(
The price was a bit steep, we paid $160 for 3 adults and 1 kid. I think I won't be visiting this restaurant anytime soon.

Angry Korean BBQ

I am so proud of my bestie and her husband for the opening of their first korean BBQ restaurant in my hometown, Medan. They have been putting in so much effort. I wish them a lot of success.
I can't wait to go back and try it out myself in two weeks' time.

There is currently a 42% off deal at SumoSave until 8th May 2013.
Rp 100,000 for a medium set of either Dweji bulgogi (돼지불고기) spciy pork or Samgyeopsal (삼겹살) non marinated pork for 2 pax

Check it out here on the promotion and details on how to get it:

Angry Korean BBQ is located at Jalan Airlangga No. 11E, Medan, Indonesia.
Call them at +61-4523 099 for enquiries and reservation.

Monday Blues

Weekend always passes so fast, especially when we have great time. My last weekend was really fun, had a lot of time catching up with besties.

Dinner with my long lost friend last Friday at Ayam Penyet President, Lucky Plaza. Unfortunately, both of us were too engrossed catching up that we totally forgot to take pictures. The food is good, will definitely go back when I crave for Indonesian food.

Celebrated my bestie's belated birthday on Saturday at Palio, Hotel Michael. The ambiance was not that fantastic, but it was quiet and perfect for catching up.

The mushroom soup was great, we loved it so much

The left pizza is from the kid's menu and the right pizza is Pizza Michael for the adults :p However, the pizza was a disappointment despite of being the bestseller menu

Pici all'Aglione, this is another Palio's signature menu. It is linguine pasta served with half Boston Lobster in spicy tomato sauce. This pasta is great, although the size of the lobster was a bit pathetic :p It looks totally different from the picture in menu.

The birthday girl with her beau

This tiramisu is super duper yummy

Cant remember the name of this dessert, but it is chocolate flavor with almond ice cream

The three musketeers :p
